The Tantalus4 felt that even though this marathon might not draw a huge amount of viewers, it would be reasonable to at least have the option of making donations to a cause selected by the team. The receiver naturally had to be of international renown, and so it became that thesummer marathon should be devoted to Childs play charity.
On viewers' requests from earlier marathons, we'll try to have a PayPal supported payment method this time. gamemarathons.com had some advice on this and recommended the ChipIn-service which will most likely be implemented in the near future.
